3S
Automotive Executive (Diploma Level)
The business policy
of all the automotive industries is now geared
toward the 3S concept of operation which emphasize
in achieving the highest customer satisfaction.
The 3S concept provides sales, service and spare
parts under one roof thereby allowing walk-in
customers to view new products and also to peruse
the after- sales facilities offered while waiting
for their cars being serviced or repaired.

The 3S concept of operation no doubt improves
services to the existing and future customers by
providing a customer friendly one-stop center.
However, this 3S concept is at this time NOT
complemented by the existing automotive training
centers in Malaysia. These training centers only
train mechanics to repair cars, but not mechanics
that can also service the customers at the counter,
giving good advice on preventive car maintenance
packages to customers, able to manage the workshop
day to day operation, able to manage and control the
flow of spare parts and has the knowledge of car
sales.

In view of this, Times Academy and City & Guilds of
London Institute have customized an automotive
training program based on the 3S concept of
operation to meet the need of the automotive
industries. All mechanics train under this program
will be able to do the job of the service advisor at
the counter, the job of the service manager and the
job of the parts and warehousing controller besides
repairing cars. Thus, no one in the workshop is
indispensable! The customer- driven 3S concept will
not be interrupted just because the service advisor,
service manager or the part controller is on
emergency leave or medical leave. Any mechanic can
take over the job of each other at any time given.
Students who have gone through this training program
successfully will be awarded a diploma from the City
& Guilds of London Institute which is
internationally recognized. Times Academy is holding
the international right of this 3S training program.
